Geography

The North Shore Concert Band draws members mainly — but not exclusively — from three communities on the north shore of Burrard Inlet (Vancouver is on the south shore): the District of North Vancouver, the City of North Vancouver and the District of West Vancouver.  We are in the province of British Columbia on the west coast of Canada, for seven years in a row the number one country in which to live.

Where Are They Now?

Check out what some members, ex-members and other friends are up to:

bulletDavid Boddington leads the Galiano Trio.  It consists of flute, clarinet, and bassoon.  David plays bassoon.
bulletAnne Brennan has founded Allegro Communications.  Here's some advice on Promoting Your Small Business.
bulletAdrian Buckley is drumming with the Orchid Highway and working with Orchid Studios.
bullet Bob Buckley's web site has demos you can listen to — or go to Axis Theatre for the latest on Driftwood, an update on the Pinocchio story.

bulletAnita Sleeman has her own website now.  It's maintained by her daughter, Cindy.
bulletMark Steffans, founder of the North Vancouver Community Band, is the KISSM music director.
bulletJunko Urabe's web site recalls the Galapagos and British Columbia, also the Jazz Connexion.  You can download her music.
