The Sea to Sky Wind Ensemble will be performing an annual Christmas concert at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church (1700 Mountain Highway, North Vancouver) on Tuesday December 17th! Performance begins at 7:30pm so be sure to be a few minutes early to park and find a seat. Admission by donation and all proceeds will be donated to the Lookout Shelter and North Vancouver Regional Ecumenical Support Team.  Christian Morrison, leader of Jazz Connexion, founded an 18-woman jazz ensemble the Sister Jazz Orchestra. Check out her interview in the North Shore News.  Sea to Sky Wind Ensemble and Jazz Connexion will be delighting audiences with spooky and entertaining music on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at 2:30 pm. Please feel free to come in costume for this family friendly event!! Treats will be provided for all those that dress-up. The weather looks good, so Band Fest is a go (updated at 7:15am, June 9th).  The Sea to Sky Wind Ensemble will be performing our Spring Concert on Tuesday, April 30th at 7:30pm at the BlueShore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts, Capilano University.  The Vancouver Sun wrote an article about Doug Macaulay, the principal conductor of the West Vancouver Youth Band (and guest conductor of the SSWE). The article also mentions the collaboration between local First Nations musicians and local composer Bob Buckley.  The Jazz Connexion will be performing at the Fairview Pub (898 West Broadway, Vancouver) on Sunday, March 10th, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. There is a $10 cover charge and minors are not permitted.
