Welcome to the official website of the North Shore Community Music Association. The NSCMA is a non-profit organization based in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. We consist of three entertaining and very different bands, who are proud to support musical and community events on the North Shore and around the province of British Columbia.

The North Shore Concert Band is a community wind ensemble conducted by Tak Maeda. The Jazz Connexion is a multi-style jazz band, led by Blair Fisher. And keep your eyes open for Freddy Fuddpucker and His Rolling Clones, our resident class clowns and parade favourite.

What a Year, That 2010!

The 2009/2010 season for the NSCB and Jazz Connexion is now over. The bands would like to thank our conductors, Tak Maeda and Blair Fisher, with honourable mentions to Cameron Hood for his late-season help with the jazz band. Our thanks also go to our Executive (you know who you are) for their tireless support and attention that keeps this show on the road.

And last, but far from least, thank you to you, our avid audience. A concert without an audience is but a rehearsal, and we thank you for making what we do worth while.

Coming Events

The Fudds lie about their weight and profession at North Vancouver High School's 100th Anniversary this Saturday, August 14th.

Jazz Connexion and the North Shore Concert Band will resume rehearsals in September 2010. See you next season!
